The result (only cars in the points):

1. 9 Kimi Räikkönen McLaren - Mercedes
2. 1 Michael Schumacher Ferrari - Ferrari
3. 2 Rubens Barrichello Ferrari - Ferrari
4. 12 Felipe Massa Sauber - Petronas
5. 7 Mark Webber Williams - BMW
6. 17 Ralf Schumacher Toyota - Toyota
7. 14 David Coulthard Red Bull Racing - Cosworth
8. 15 Christian Klien Red Bull Racing - Cosworth

Both Renault drivers, who were started excellent didn't see the finish line. Fisichella had a Hydrolic- problem, Alonso was out because of a driving mistake.
Juan Montoya crosses a red traffic light at the pit and was black flagged later.
Kimi Raikkonen was the hero in this chaos and won!

Students Make Hybrid Racing Car, Free-kicking Robot

It is built in sparkling white and with a striking similarity to a real Formula 1 racer, but just a little bit smaller. Students of mechanical engineering at the D-MAVT recently unveiled their Formula student racer called "Maloja". Its preceding model "Albula" was present, too - converted into a hybrid racing car. In addition, a free-kick robot and a four-legged walking robot were presented.

2008 Toyota Panasonic Racing - Canadian Grand Prix

For the Canadian Grand Prix on June 8 2008, riding the kerbs is key, and Panasonic Toyota Racing has spent time in the build up simulating the TF108's behavior on a seven-post rig, which is able to replicate the demands of the Montreal track. A full-size TF108 racecar has been placed on a hydraulically-powered rig, which uses data from previous seasons to shake and shudder the car exactly as though it was driving over the bumps and kerbs of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Available video includes an edited video piece on the use of simulation at Panasonic Toyota Racing, views of the TF108 race car on the seven-post rig as well as soundbites from President John Howett, Senior General Manager Chassis Pascal Vasselon, Senior General Manager Engine Luca Marmorini, Chief Engineer Race and Test Dieter Gass and Head of Aerodynamics Mark Gillan.
